@nicrulz, when we’re in this situation, we wait till the paint has cured for at least 24hrs, then sand the entire piece, and start the entire process over again. This way your surface finish is consistent.

Just one little critique if I may, I would suggest removing the eject button and painting that separately. Getting paint in between the eject button and trim bezel sometimes causes the eject button to no longer operate, and on most drives it simply pops off. With that said, great tutorial, well done

If you make a mistake while doing this can you use sandpaper or something similar to take off some of the paint and then spray it again?
