Modmen, I like the new product reviews especially the 3M carbon fiber film, it gave me some great ideas on how to spice up my desktop. Keep the vids coming and I plan on hitting up your store real soon.

You guys are an inspiration. I’d love to see more shows about the types of builds you are doing for clients. I love how you approach it from the direction of getting your fans excited about trying simple and different mods of our own, but then still busting out the American Chopper-esque professional “Tim Burton meets the Jetsons” mod. Can’t wait for the next season.

Recker Says: #28 posted May 4th, 2011 at 11:37am

This migh be a bit of base but not including time but what was the cost of the materials to create the tower. How much would it cost to machine something like this if i were to go to your average machine shop etc…. if i had the materials??? I know machine workmenship and cost can vary greatly im sure im just looking for ball park. I was thinkinging of doing something and want to know if its in my budget. Want to do something similiar to what you guys did and build onto it with something like RONLEEC1 on youtube BioHazard case. I dont have the skills like him but i can do some of the work he did to a custom case i want to build. I’ve got my guts already so i can build with the demensions in mind

What program do you use to draw out the case like you have?

    It’s Google SketchUp I believe.

Excellent case for a new Mobo build

FuzzyWolf Says: #21 posted March 29th, 2011 at 1:45am

Absolutely love it. Was just catching up over on hackaday dot com and found an article about you guys.
You have obviously put a lot of work into it and it shows. I like that you go full spectrum and show fairly top end hardware and then cut to lower end (and lower budget) mods. Its a good balance that keeps viewership of those that have disposable income and those who have the dreams but not the dollars.
Keep up the great work.

madmin madfusionmedia.com Says: #20 posted March 23rd, 2011 at 10:25am

@T-Risely – MOD MEN projects encompass more than “just” existing case mods.

T-Risely Says: #19 posted March 23rd, 2011 at 6:36am

Excuse me for my outright rudeness, but isn’t “case modding” changing an existing case to accomodate aftermarket/custom parts? The case above is a self built case, so really it hasn’t been modded.

Anyhow, I love this design, I still prefer standard cases though.

dungeon_kpr Says: #18 posted March 14th, 2011 at 8:37pm

i am new to this whole case modding thing, but i love what i see, and can hardley wait to see more

madmin madfusionmedia.com Says: #17 posted March 10th, 2011 at 5:53am

@mlody. You figured us out! We’re putting some cushions on this thing and pitching it to HGTV. Now THAT’S a home theater PC!

mlody Says: #16 posted March 4th, 2011 at 9:35pm

the first thing that came to my mind is that this is chair/pc design … but i think i’m wrong.

but admit guys, it looks like a chair :)

nightmaremike Says: #15 posted February 20th, 2011 at 4:03am

nice design,
would love to see the case come together.

Artie Says: #14 posted February 19th, 2011 at 9:27am

madmin madfusionmedia.com Says: #10 posted February 17th, 2011 at 7:12pm

@Stem83 – You are right on. @youngnewbie – Liquid is in the reservoir.

youngnewbie Says: #9 posted February 9th, 2011 at 2:49am

is the heatsink like thing at the base going to hold anything, like the liquid? it could be kinda cool to have a colored base…

AzurusNova Says: #8 posted February 8th, 2011 at 6:49am

A really nice design!
Looks like some form of modern architecture.

Stem83 Says: #7 posted February 7th, 2011 at 3:07pm

thinking the tower part contains the Rad… am i correct?

m0o0oeh m0o0oeh.co.uk/forums Says: #6 posted February 6th, 2011 at 9:09pm

Classic Cheaps design! One of these days if I could design something, hell even half as whacked as that monolithic slab of awesome, I’d be a happy bunny! Nice to see some people from the community get involved in more of Bill’s projects.

Cbak1ller Says: #5 posted February 6th, 2011 at 5:44am

Its like a xbox 360 and a ps3 in one!, A very nice project.
